Hibiscus flowers are known for their cooling properties. And so are strawberries. The top fruity taste with an underlying floral aroma makes this drink unique. And the natural crimson colour of the sundried hibiscus flowers, merged with the red tint of strawberries adds to a great visual appeal- something you would love to flaunt to your guests. Here’s our recipe for an exclusive Egyptian Hibiscus Strawberry Cooler
Egyptian hibiscus tea (Red Tea bag)
6-7 fresh strawberries
Honey- to taste
Ice cubes, mint for garnish
Steep Red Tea in 250 ml of hot water. Wait for 4-5 minutes till you get all the colour and the flavours. Add 2 tablespoon of honey, while it’s warm. You can reduce the amount of honey if you like less sweet and more tang. Let it cool. Blend 4-5 strawberries in a blender and get the juice out. Stir it in the steeped hibiscus tea. Fill one-third of a tall glass with ice. Pour your tea and strawberry mix. Garnish with sliced strawberry and a few sprigs of mint.
